Committee Purpose: To elevate the standards of agency communications, public relations and corporate communications by tapping into a wide range of diverse experiences, ideas, knowledge and perspectives from across the industry. The committee will bring together communications professionals to facilitate a healthy exchange of ideas and best practices, foster networking, mentorship and collaboration, and enable us to grow as communications professionals so we are better positioned to serve our clients and agencies. Together we will raise standards for effective, impactful, authentic communications. We will create opportunities to expose students and young professionals to careers in communications and enhance the image of the advertising industry as a desirable career destination.
Meeting Frequency: 4 - 6 times a year; virtual. Every other year we hold an in-person conference open to all committee members and comms professionals.
Roles & Responsibilities: Consistent attendance and contribution to group discussion, sharing insights and perspectives on best practices, providing topics/presentations for group sharing and discussion. Foster a positive, productive, constructive environment of mutual learning and professional development.
